Literary Vignette

Pffft... consistency, we have it. I guess it's high time a new topic was posted. "What?" Some of you might say. "Why are you doing this right when we're about to get stressed and commit harakiri over co-ops?"

It's because I'm cruel, crazy, and everyone needs an excuse to not be working on what they should be, alright?

Anyway, the next topic.

Have you ever read a book and found yourself heartbroken by a terrible translation to a movie format? Believe that they butchered a character's design completely and entirely and wished that you could build a time machine to jump back in time, establish yourself as the movie's art director and make things right?

... I'll get back to you if I ever build that time machine. Nonetheless... we still have wishful thinking. And the ability to draw up what we feel a proper design would be, am I right?

So that's your next challenge. Take a character from a book, human or otherwise, and revamp the character design. If the character never made it to a visual medium, it matters not, just show us what you envisioned when reading about them. :D

  1. Actually working on one. I lost a huge amount of motivation recently but I'm making a comeback.

Oh man I just reread the prompt... you know how long it took me to come up with a book to film blunder? I know i've raged at way too many screen adaptations but its been a while. Oh well. onward with what i've got.

Come back everyone! We can do this.
